About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Controls Manager to join the CIB & HCIB Technology Chief Control Office (CCO) team.

The role will focus on technology risk and controls, regulatory requirements, control assurance, audit/testing and stakeholder management. The individual will work closely with technology, risk, audit, business and regulatory stakeholders to strengthen the technology control environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the CIB & HCIB Technology risk and controls agenda.
Partner with stakeholders across the three Lines of Defence (3 LODs).
Act as a technology controls SME for internal and external stakeholders.
Support engagements with external regulators, including RBI.
Analyse risk and control information, regulatory circulars and questionnaires.
Monitor the effectiveness of the technology control workplace and identify areas for improvement.
Support issue management, internal events and risk-framework activities.
Own governance activities related to regulatory testing and ensure timely completion of actions.




Provide senior management with updates on regulatory deliverables, risks and concerns.
Facilitate internal testing and ensure timely submission of supporting evidence.
Identify trends and support the development and implementation of risk management and regulatory frameworks.

What We're Looking For
Experience in Technology Risk, Technology Controls, IT Audit, Risk Management, Operations or Regulatory Audit.
Robust understanding of technology controls.
Positive knowledge of areas such as software development, technology architecture, platforms and resilience.
Experience identifying and resolving technology/risk-related issues.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within stringent timelines.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Certifications Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC or CCSP is Mandatory
