Purchase Executive – Job Role

Identify and source products from reliable suppliers/vendors.

Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.

Prepare and process purchase orders based on stock requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmation and timely delivery.

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of quick-moving and essential items.

Verify product quality, quantity, pricing and specifications upon receipt.

Coordinate with Warehouse, Accounts and Sales teams regarding purchases.

Maintain supplier details, purchase records, quotations and invoices.

Compare market prices and identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.

Follow up on pending, delayed or short-supplied orders.





Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

Ensure purchases are made as per company policies and approved budgets.

Prepare regular purchase reports and submit them to management.

Handle supplier complaints, returns and replacement issues when required.

Key Skills: Negotiation, Vendor Management, Market Knowledge, Communication, MS Excel/ERP, Cost Control and Analytical Skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
