Job Responsibilities
Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspection of components during the shift.
Inspect plastic injection moulded components for visual and dimensional defects.
Check dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and Gauges.
Knowledge on reading Engineering Drawing.
Monitor production quality and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Segregate and identify rejected/non-conforming components.
Maintain inspection reports, rejection records and quality check sheets.
Coordinate with Production, Tool Room and Maintenance teams for quality issues.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring defects.
Conduct regular patrolling inspection during the shift.
Ensure adherence to 5S, safety and quality procedures.
Provide proper shift handover and communicate pending quality issues to the next shift.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding processes.
Knowledge of quality inspection and defect identification.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools, SPC and 5S.
Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
