Job Summary The Paint Shop Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily paint shop operations, ensuring high-quality painting and finishing, meeting production targets, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The role requires hands-on experience in paint application processes, team supervision, and coordination with related departments.
Key Responsibilities
To perform daily paint shop activities to meet production schedules
Ensure proper surface preparation, painting, and finishing as per specifications
Monitor paint mixing ratios, application techniques, and curing processes
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and minimize rework
Maintain safety standards, PPE compliance, and housekeeping (5S) in the shop
Identify and resolve process issues related to paint defects and wastage
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams for smooth operations
Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of paint shop processes and equipment
Quality control and defect analysis
Knowledge of safety practices and PPE
Qualifications
ITI / Polytechnic in Chemical Engineering or similar.
1 Year of experience in paint shop supervision (Automotive/Weapon Industries preferred)
