About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with 610 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, and Data Build Tool, with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data models using Snowflake to support business intelligence and analytics solutions.
Implement ETL/ELT solutions that involve complex business transformations.
Write complex SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
Develop data engineering applications and automation using Python.
Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, files, and cloud platforms.
Work with Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel, Energetic Tables, and Snowflake Warehouses.
Perform data modeling, including dimensional modeling,



fact/dimension design, and schema optimization.
Implement CI/CD and version-control practices for data engineering solutions.

Required Technical Skills
Experience 7+ years of data engineering experience with a solid focus on Snowflake architecture.
SQL: Mastery of advanced SQL for complex data querying, optimization, and analytical processing.
Python: Proficiency in Python for data pipeline automation, scripting, and building custom ETL/ELT processes.
DBT: Extensive experience using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data modeling, testing, and documentation.
Performance: Experience in Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management.
Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including cloud storage and security.
Pipelines: Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines.
CI/CD: Familiarity with version control (Git) and data pipeline deployment workflows.
Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Team player: Ability to work with team members and contribute towards organizational goals.
