Position - Sr. Networking Head

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing and leading the organizations network infrastructure across campuses, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity for academic and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and network security.
Ensure high network availability, performance, and minimum downtime across campuses.
Manage network monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and infrastructure upgrades.
Oversee campus connectivity for classrooms, laboratories, hostels, libraries, smart classrooms, and administrative offices.
Manage ISPs, technology vendors, AMC partners, and network-related projects.




Implement network security policies, access controls, and disaster recovery measures.
Lead and mentor the networking/IT infrastructure team.
Maintain network documentation, SOPs, asset records, and MIS reports.
Ensure timely resolution of network incidents as per defined SLAs and KPIs.

Qualification & Experience: Bachelors/Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field with 10–15+ years of relevant experience. CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications preferred.
