Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software to automate SolidWorks and SolidWorks PLM/PDM workflows.
Automate 3D model, assembly, configuration, drawing and BOM creation/modification using SolidWorks API.
Automate PLM/PDM operations including document management, metadata, revisions, lifecycle/status and check-in/check-out.
Develop integration between the custom application, SolidWorks and PLM/PDM.
Implement JSON-based configuration save/load and apply configurations to SolidWorks models.
Work on an existing application, troubleshoot issues and develop recent automation features.
Improve application reliability, error handling and performance.Role & responsibilities
Preferred candidate profile
3+ years of experience in software development/CAD automation.
Robust hands-on experience with SolidWorks API/Automation and C#/.NET.
Experience with SolidWorks PDM/PLM and CADPLM integration.
Positive understanding of SolidWorks parts, assemblies, drawings, configurations and BOMs.
Experience working with APIs, JSON and Windows-based applications.
Experience developing or maintaining CAD/PLM automation software is highly preferred.
Candidates with only manual SolidWorks design/modeling experience without API/software development experience are not suitable.
