STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) Operator manages and maintains wastewater treatment equipment to ensure water quality standards and environmental compliance. They monitor control panels, operate pumps/filters, conduct chemical dosing, and perform routine repairs. Key tasks include recording, testing, and troubleshooting to treat effluent safely. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Control: Operate and monitor sewage treatment systems, including pumps, blowers, and valves to regulate flow.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform daily, weekly, or monthly maintenance, such as cleaning filters and lubricating equipment.
Water Quality Testing: Collect, test, and analyze wastewater samples at various stages to adjust treatment processes.
Chemical Handling: Ensure proper dosage of chemicals for water treatment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports of plant operations.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to environmental regulations, safety protocols, and health standards.
