Strategy and Planning :

Support the end-to-end implementation of the DPDP Act compliance framework across bank functions

Assist in the operational setup and management of Data Principal Rights request handling (access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, etc.)

Policies, Processes & Procedures

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining privacy policies, consent management mechanisms, and data processing notices.

Conduct and document Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for current or existing processes and products.

Monitor vendor compliance with the DPDP Act and support third-party data processing risk assessments.

Assist in preparing periodic dashboards, risk registers, and compliance status reports for senior management and the DPO.

Support internal audits, training sessions, and awareness programs related to DPDP Act compliance.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

Regulatory Knowledge Understanding of the DPDP Act, RBI and sectoral privacy guidelines.

Privacy Risk Assessment – Ability to assess and document privacy risks across business processes.





Data Governance – Knowledge of personal data lifecycle, classification, and access controls

Process Orientation – Skilled at creating documentation, SOPs, and compliance workflows

Cross-functional Collaboration – Ability to work with Legal, IT, Security, Operations, and Business Units

People Management

Coordinate with IT, Legal, Compliance and Business Units to ensure incorporation of privacy-by-design principles

Education

Essential: LL.B. Certified data scientist, MBA with specialization in Data Science or Data Analytics, PGDBA,

Preferred: Industry certifications preferred (e.g., DCPP, CIPP, CIPM, ISO 27701, certified GDPR Foundation etc.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in data privacy, legal compliance, or information security
