Required Qualifications

Graduate (Civil) - 7 years in design

Key Responsibilities
Mainline Track Engineering: Lead the design validation and safety verification for mainline Permanent Way (P-Way) infrastructure—including heavy-haul or high-speed alignments, complex track geometry, ballast/slab track transition zones, heavy turnouts, and agile clearance boundaries.
PSSA & Risk Management: Drive the Preliminary System Safety Assessment (PSSA) for the track subsystem,



evaluating mainline-specific operational hazards such as rail breaks, gauge widening, track buckling, derailment risks, and energetic track-structure interactions.
Mainline Standards & Interoperability: Ensure complete design compliance with mainline heavy-rail or high-speed regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., UIC, AREMA, European TSIs, or national railway network codes like Network Rail/RDSO) alongside CENELEC EN 50126 RAMS requirements.
Cross-Disciplinary Safety Interfaces: Manage critical multi-disciplinary interfaces with mainline signaling (e.g., ETCS/ATC), heavy rolling stock wheel-rail interaction, and overhead line equipment (OHL), while maintaining the project Hazard Log for independent safety assessment (ISA) approvals.
