Technical Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:
Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria based on prioritized features.
Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog with the Product Manager.
Validate completed work against business needs, user value, AI performance, and technical expectations.
Balance current features, AI enhancements, technical debt, and bugs without compromising velocity or quality.
Foster a team-oriented, accountable, self-organizing work workplace while protecting the team from unnecessary distractions.
Facilitate Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinements, and Retrospectives.
Coordinate release planning and deployment readiness with Product, RTM, and engineering leads.
Identify and eliminate blockers across teams and dependencies.
Track delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) and surface insights to improve predictability.

Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth), payload structures, error codes, and service interactions.
Ability to review API contracts, debug integration issues, validate request/response flows, and coordinate versioning.
Experience with event-driven architecture and dependency mapping.
Familiarity with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic,



Azure OpenAI, Llama), model APIs, integration patterns, and safety considerations.
Ability to analyze structured/unstructured data, logs, and RAG retrieval traces for troubleshooting.
Familiarity with SQL (read/interpret queries), data models, data validation, schema mapping concepts.
Understanding of data freshness, content ingestion, and metadata required for RAG.

Technical Skills & Experience:
API Tools: Postman, Swagger, Insomnia.
Cloud: Azure (high-level working understanding).
Delivery tools: Aha, Rally.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and continuous delivery.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms.
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
