Job Responsibilities
Drive trucks safely and responsibly for the transportation of goods/materials.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods as per the assigned schedule.
Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report any defects or maintenance issues.
Maintain proper records of trips, deliveries, fuel, and vehicle-related documents.
Ensure the safety and proper handling of goods during transportation.
Coordinate with the dispatch/operations team regarding routes, delivery schedules, and any delays.
Keep the vehicle clean and in positive operating condition.
Handle loading and unloading activities when required.
Report accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents immediately to the concerned supervisor.
Eligibility & Requirements
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Heavy Transport Driving Licence.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a truck/heavy vehicle driver.
Good knowledge of local and highway routes.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
Good driving record and responsible attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or long-distance trips when required.
Physically fit and punctual.
Salary ₹18000-22000 per month, depending on experience and interview.
