We are looking for an Engineering Trainee – Production to support our furniture manufacturing operations. The candidate will receive practical exposure to production processes, quality standards, manpower coordination, production planning, and shop-floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring daily furniture production activities and production targets.
Support production planning and ensure timely completion of production schedules.
Monitor shop-floor operations and coordinate with production team members.
Assist in maintaining production records, reports, and documentation.
Monitor material availability and coordinate with stores and other departments.
Assist in identifying production issues, delays, and process improvements.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance teams as required.
Assist in reducing material wastage and improving production efficiency.
Prepare daily production reports and update the reporting manager.
Learn and support the operation of furniture manufacturing machinery and processes.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, interior, Furniture or related field.
Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
Knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Valuable communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in a factory / manufacturing workplace.
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of furniture manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of production planning and workflow management.
Ability to read technical drawings is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
