About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced TGT English Teacher to teach students in Grades 7 to 9 under the CBSE Curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning setting.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE Curriculum.
Teach English to students in Grades 7–9.
Develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom workplace.
Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ overall academic and personal development.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or a relevant field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
2–3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT English Teacher.
Experience teaching the CBSE Curriculum will be preferred.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Positive classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
