Role & responsibilities
Manage and supervise OP, IP, emergency, pharmacy, diagnostic and procedure billing operations.
Oversee TPA, insurance, cashless and reimbursement processes, ensuring timely claim submission and settlement.
Monitor daily billing, collections, outstanding amounts, credit bills and revenue reports.
Identify and minimize billing errors, revenue leakage, pending claims and unauthorized discounts.
Manage AR and credit recovery, following up on outstanding insurance, corporate and patient accounts.
Ensure correct application of hospital tariffs, packages, discounts and billing protocols.
Coordinate with Doctors, Nursing, Finance, Insurance, Medical Records, Pharmacy and other departments for accurate billing.
Supervise, train and evaluate the billing team, ensuring productivity and service quality.
Prepare and review MIS reports, revenue analysis and billing performance reports for management.




Ensure proper documentation and adherence to NABH standards, hospital policies and statutory requirements.
Conduct periodic billing audits and take corrective action to prevent recurring errors.
Handle and resolve patient billing queries and escalations professionally.
Coordinate with the Finance Department for reconciliation of billing, collections and receivables.
Monitor the performance of the hospital billing software/HIS and coordinate with IT for system-related issues.
Support management in revenue enhancement initiatives and process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile
Candidates should have the knowledge of hospital billing and insurance
Qualification - Any degree
Experience - 5 to 8 years
