Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day transport operations, including drivers and vehicles.
Plan and monitor vehicle maintenance, repairs, mileage, movement, and consumables.
Ensure all statutory requirements such as insurance, tax, permits, and FC are up to date.
Monitor driver grooming, uniform, attendance, breaks, and discipline.
Act as the first point of contact for drivers and conduct daily vehicle checks.
Coordinate patient and staff transportation, including airport/railway pickups and drops.
Manage internal patient shifting between hospital buildings.
Conduct surprise checks on vehicles and drivers to ensure compliance.
Follow up on feedback and implement necessary corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduate with relevant experience in transport/fleet operations.
Experience in managing drivers and vehicle maintenance.
Positive communication, coordination, and team management skills.
Knowledge of vehicle documentation, permits, insurance, tax, and FC.
Ability to handle patient transportation and emergency requirements.
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously update knowledge and skills.
