Position: VMC Operator Cum Setter

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines.
Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications.
Perform tool setting, fixture setting, and offset corrections.
Load CNC programs and make minor program edits when required.
Monitor machining operations and maintain dimensional accuracy.
Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments.
Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Indicator for quality checks.
Troubleshoot machining issues and coordinate with maintenance/programming teams.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times. (BeBee)

Required Skills
Knowledge of VMC/CNC machine operation and setting.




Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.
Basic knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
Understanding of tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds.
Solid problem-solving and quality inspection skills.
