Role & Responsibilities

Prabhu Creations is looking for an experienced Production Merchandiser for our apparel manufacturing and export operations.
Independently handle orders from confirmation through production and shipment.
Prepare and closely monitor T&A; to ensure timely execution and deliveries.
Coordinate with buyers and internal teams for approvals, production updates and order requirements.
Follow up on fabrics, trims, accessories, samples and all production approvals.
Coordinate with sampling, cutting, stitching, finishing, quality and packing departments.
Ensure PP samples, size sets, trims and other approvals are completed before production.
Monitor production status daily and proactively identify and resolve delays/bottlenecks.
Ensure buyer specifications, measurements, workmanship and quality requirements are followed during production.
Maintain order files, production records and buyer communication.
Coordinate final inspection,



packing and shipment requirements.
Provide regular order-status updates to management and buyers.

Preferred Candidate Profile
47 years of relevant experience in apparel/garment merchandising, preferably with an export house.
Strong experience in production merchandising and order execution.
Valuable knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims and production processes.
Solid understanding of T&A; and critical-path management.
Positive written and verbal English for buyer communication.
Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Must be organised, proactive and capable of independently handling multiple orders/styles.
Should be comfortable coordinating directly with factory production teams and following orders on the production floor.
