Responsibilities:
Create and develop current knitwear designs as per market trends and buyer requirements.
Prepare design sketches, tech packs, and sampling instructions.
Coordinate and ensure timely sample development by getting samples prepared as per design specifications.
Coordinate with merchandising and production teams for sample development and approvals.
Select fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for new collections.
Ensure designs meet quality standards and production feasibility.
Work closely with production to ensure smooth execution from sampling to bulk production.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 year of experience in the garment/knitwear industry.
Solid knowledge of fabrics, colors, and current fashion trends.
Basic knowledge of design software.
Creative mindset with positive coordination and communication skills.
