Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and expense allocations.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial schedules.
Perform and review bank, customer, vendor, payment, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
Analyse reconciliation differences and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
Ensure revenue and expenses are recognized accurately in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and support timely collections and vendor payments.
Monitor cash balances and assist with cash-flow reporting and forecasting.
Support statutory accounting, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports for management as required.
