About the RoleWe are looking for a QC Engineer to independently inspect and ensure the quality of elevator installation and service work before customer handover. The role involves site audits, documentation, snag verification, and compliance checks.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct 100% QC inspection of elevator installations before handover.
Check alignment, levelling, doors, safety circuits, ride quality and workmanship.
Verify compliance with IS 17900:2022 and applicable lift regulations.
Conduct stage-wise site inspections and identify quality/safety issues.
Prepare inspection reports,
snag lists and photographic documentation.
Track and re-verify snag closures before final clearance.
Conduct quality audits of AMC/service work.
Report recurring quality issues and improvement prospects to management.
Requirements2–6 years of experience in elevator installation, service, inspection or QC/QA.
Robust knowledge of elevator installation practices and tolerances.
Familiarity with IS 17900:2022 and applicable lift regulations.
Valuable measurement, documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate firmly with site teams.
Willingness to travel to project sites and work at height.
