JOB DESCRIPTION – TRAINEE TOOL MAKER

Industry: Automotive – Tier 2 Component Manufacturing

Department: Injection moulding – Tool maintenance

Location: Bommasandra bangalore.

Qualification:
Diploma in Tool and Die Making

Experience:
2 to 3 years exp/ Entry-level candidates
On-the-job training will be provided

Shift Pattern:
2-shift rotational duty (General / 2nd shift)

Roles &Responsibilities;:
Assist in fabrication, fitting, assembly and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, and moulds as per drawings
Follow IATF 16949 and customer-specific quality requirements
Operate tool room machines such as lathe, milling, grinding, and drilling machines under supervision
Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges for inspection of tool components
Maintain tooling, maintenance,



and shift records
Support tool trials, tryouts, and minor breakdown maintenance activities
Adhere to safety, PPE usage, 5S, and housekeeping standards

Skills &Competencies;:
Basic knowledge of tool room machines, engineering drawings, and tooling materials
Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Valuable discipline, learning attitude, and teamwork
