Job Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor DG/Genset for uninterrupted power supply at the farm.
Handle end-to-end farm lighting operations, including switching lights ON/OFF as per the required schedule.
Monitor electrical panels, switches, wiring, and power supply across the farm.
Ensure timely starting and stopping of the generator as per operational requirements.
Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, battery, and other basic parameters of the Genset.
Maintain proper records of generator running hours, fuel consumption, and basic maintenance activities.
Identify and report electrical or generator-related faults to the concerned maintenance team.
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of the generator and electrical equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of lighting systems in poultry sheds, offices,
and other farm areas.
Follow all electrical safety and generator operating procedures.
Support the maintenance team in other basic electrical work at the farm whenever required.
Eligibility:
ITI qualification in Electrical, Diesel Mechanic, or a relevant trade.
Freshers can apply; candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and generator operation will be an added advantage.
Willingness to work at a poultry farm and in rotational shifts, if required.
