Key Responsibilities
Vision & Refraction Testing: Perform subjective and objective refractions, retinoscopy, and visual acuity tests to diagnose vision errors and prescribe corrective lenses.
Diagnostic Workups: Operate specialized diagnostic equipment (e.g., OCT, Visual Field Analyzers, Topography, Tonometry, Biometry/A-Scan) to assist ophthalmologists in pre-op evaluations and disease monitoring.
Contact Lens Fitting: Assess, fit, and dispense soft, toric, and specialty contact lenses while instructing patients on proper lens care and hygiene.
Patient Screening & Triage: Identify ocular pathology, glaucoma signs, corneal irregularities, and retinal abnormalities, referring complex cases to senior ophthalmologists.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate digital clinical records of patient measurements, test findings, and lens prescriptions.

Key Requirements




Education: Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) or Diploma in Optometry (D.Optom) from a recognized institution.
Experience: 1–4 years of clinical experience in an eye hospital, optical setup, or refractive centre (freshers with solid internship clinical records are welcome).
Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with diagnostic ophthalmic devices, slit-lamp examination, and precise refraction techniques.
Communication: Transparent communication skills in English and Telugu (Hindi is an advantage) to explain visual conditions and care instructions effectively.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
