Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cytology Technician to join our Cytology Department. The candidate will be responsible for processing cytology samples, slide preparation, staining, and maintaining quality standards as per laboratory SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, label, and process cytology specimens as per SOPs.
Perform sample preparation, smearing, fixation, staining, and slide processing.
Handle FNAC, Pap smear, body fluid, urine, and other cytology specimens.
Assist in preparation of slides for microscopic examination.
Maintain proper documentation, records, and sample traceability.
Ensure accurate identification and handling of patient samples.
Follow laboratory quality control, safety, and infection-control procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
Coordinate with pathologists and other laboratory staff for smooth workflow.




Report any sample discrepancy, rejection, or processing issue to the concerned senior.
Follow all laboratory SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualification
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or relevant life-science qualification.
Candidates with relevant Cytology / Histopathology laboratory experience will be preferred.

Experience
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Experience in Cytology / Histopathology / Pathology laboratory will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of cytology sample processing and slide preparation.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work effectively in a laboratory team.
Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality procedures.
Willingness to work in a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
