A Dubai-based NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) is seeking a agile and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee operations at our Mumbai branch in India. This is an excellent chance to be part of a growing global shipping and logistics organization.

Reports To: Managing Director / Head Office (Dubai)

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the complete operations of the Mumbai branch, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
Manage and expand the NVOCC business, including sales, operations, and customer relationships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, agents, vendors, and clients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
Lead, mentor, and manage the branch team to ensure high performance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with local shipping regulations, customs,



and statutory requirements.
Coordinate closely with the Dubai head office on strategic and operational matters.
Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, P&L;, and business development.
Handle rate negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
3 to 4 years of experience in shipping, NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Solid knowledge of NVOCC operations, sea freight, and India–Middle East trade lanes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong network with shipping lines, agents, and industry stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and drive business growth.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/shipping software.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
