Elpro International School is seeking a energetic, experienced, and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in History to join our senior secondary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality history education to students of Classes XI and XII, preparing them for CBSE examinations and fostering a deep interest in historical knowledge, critical thinking, and civic understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in History as per the CBSE curriculum for Classes XI and XII.
Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments aligned with CBSE norms and school pedagogy.
Incorporate activity-based, interdisciplinary, and experiential teaching methods.
Prepare students for internal assessments, board exams, and competitions such as history quizzes, debates, and Model UN.




Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, tests, and maintain proper academic records.
Integrate technology (smart boards, digital content, etc.) in teaching to enhance learning outcomes.
Encourage historical inquiry, critical analysis, and discussion in the classroom.
Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and enrichment programs.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan interdisciplinary lessons and school events.
Maintain discipline and promote a positive and inclusive learning setting.
Attend school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, training programs, and workshops.
