Counsellor
Department: Social Work
Reporting To: Case Manager
Abhasa Rehab & Wellness is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor to join our team.
Qualification:
M.S.W. in Medical & Psychiatry
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual supportive counselling and psychoeducation.
Conduct and support therapeutic group activities.
Coordinate with clinical teams, and other departments.
Facilitate communication and engagement with clients and families.
Maintain weekly observations, session notes, incident reports, and monthly evaluation reports.
Participate in family sessions, case presentations, and interdisciplinary meetings.
Support client admissions, orientation, consultations, and overall care coordination.
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in mental health, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Positive documentation and crisis management skills.
