Key Responsibilities
Receive and verify takeaway and delivery orders.
Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are ready on time.
Check food items against the order before packing.
Pack food securely and hygienically, including cutlery, sauces, napkins, and condiments.
Label parcels correctly with customer/order details.
Coordinate with delivery drivers and delivery platforms for order pickup.
Handle takeaway customer collections professionally.
Update order status in the POS/order-management system.
Check that bills, receipts, and payment details are correct.
Report missing, incorrect, or damaged items to the supervisor immediately.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing and dispatch area.
Follow restaurant food-safety and hygiene procedures.
Requirements
Previous restaurant, takeaway,
delivery, or customer-service experience is preferred.
Basic English communication skills.
Basic computer/POS knowledge.
Positive attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly during busy periods.
Team-oriented and customer-friendly attitude.
