Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant . The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks, analysing financial data, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial discrepancies.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Audit Support
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Oversee invoicing, payments, and collections.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with employee compensation regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of skilled accounting experience.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Advanced Excel skills
High attention to detail and accuracy.
