Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Inspector with experience in plastic injection moulding to inspect and ensure the quality of moulded components as per customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect injection moulded components during incoming, in-process, and final inspection.

Check components for visual defects such as flash, short moulding, sink marks, burn marks, warpage, scratches, weld lines, and dimensional variations.

Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.

Verify components as per approved drawings, specifications, samples, and inspection standards.

Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, rejection records, and other quality documents.

Identify and segregate defective/non-conforming parts.

Monitor process quality and report defects to the Production/Quality Engineer.

Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring defects.

Conduct first-piece inspection and patrol/in-process inspection.





Ensure proper identification and traceability of accepted and rejected components.

Coordinate with production operators to control and reduce rejection and rework.

Follow company quality procedures, 5S, safety requirements, and QMS procedures.

Support customer complaints, audits, and quality improvement activities when required.

Required Skills

Knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and common moulding defects.

Positive knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.

Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools and quality documentation.

Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and basic problem-solving techniques.

Valuable observation and analytical skills.

Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
