Job Title: Purchase Manager – Landscaping & Horticulture
Department: Procurement & Supply Chain
Reports To: Director of Operations / General Manager

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Source reliable nurseries, stone quarries, turf farms, and equipment suppliers. Negotiate bulk pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules. [1, 2]
Material Procurement: Procure live plants, trees, sod, mulch, topsoil, pavers, irrigation systems, and landscaping tools based on active project requirements.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming plants and hardscape materials to ensure they meet high horticultural and structural standards before dispatching to job sites.
Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor project material budgets, analyze market price fluctuations,



and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. [1, 2]
Logistics & Inventory: Coordinate timely deliveries of perishable goods (live plants) directly to client sites or company staging yards to prevent project delays.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management, ideally within landscaping, construction, or agriculture.
Horticultural Knowledge: Familiarity with plant varieties, seasonal availability, and delicate material handling/transportation.
Soft Skills: Solid negotiation, vendor relationship management, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory software and MS Excel.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Horticulture, or a related field.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
