Job Description – HR Intern

Position: HR Intern
Department: Human Resources
Location: Chandigarh
Reporting To: HR Manager / Senior HR Executive

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in sourcing and screening candidates through job portals and other recruitment channels.
Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain candidate and recruitment trackers.
Support documentation and onboarding of new employees.
Assist in conducting employee induction and orientation.
HR Operations & Documentation
Maintain employee records, HR documents, and personnel files.
Assist with joining, confirmation, transfer, and exit-related documentation.
Support attendance and leave management activities.
Update and maintain HR databases and trackers.
Employee Engagement & Training
Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities.
Support training sessions, induction programs, and feedback collection.
Help prepare training materials, presentations, and attendance records.
General HR Support
Assist the HR team with day-to-day administrative activities.




Prepare HR reports and MIS as required.
Coordinate with employees regarding routine HR queries.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of HR functions and recruitment processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Good organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks.
