Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, stack, and move goods/materials.
Transport pallets and products within warehouses, factories, or storage yards.
Inspect forklifts daily (fuel, battery, brakes, hydraulics) and report issues.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
Maintain inventory accuracy by recording movements in logs or warehouse systems.
Assist with manual handling when required.
Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Minimum 10th pass (varies by employer).
Certification: Valid forklift operator license/training certificate.
Experience: 0–3 years; freshers may be trained in office.
Technical skills: Ability to operate different forklift types (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack).
Physical fitness: Ability to lift, bend, and work in quick-paced environments.
Attention to detail: Careful handling of fragile or hazardous materials.
