Experience: 2–5 years in Quality / Manufacturing preferred
Salary: ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to manage quality inspection, supplier quality, in-process inspection, finished goods inspection, documentation and continuous improvement activities at our Narhe unit.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect and approve semi-finished, finished and bought-out parts as per drawings and quality standards.
Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspection and maintain inspection records.
Handle quality issues, rework, rejection and re-inspection of parts.
Coordinate with suppliers for quality issues, rework and corrective actions.
Initiate and follow up on CAPA with suppliers.
Monitor raw material inspection and ensure required Test Certificates (TCs) are available.
Support current part development and pilot batch inspection at supplier locations.
Handle gauge and measuring instrument procurement and periodic calibration.
Monitor line rejections and resolve assembly/testing-related quality issues.
Handle customer complaints and coordinate for repair/replacement and resolution.




Maintain quality documentation for ISO audits, CE marking and customer audits.
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of NCs.
Conduct supplier evaluation and monitor supplier quality performance.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores, Design and Sales departments on quality-related matters.
Maintain rejection, inspection, calibration, drawing, CAPA and ISO records.
Prepare monthly rejection and rework analysis reports.
Visit customer sites when required to resolve quality-related issues.
Conduct/coordinate lab testing of parts whenever required.
Perform other quality-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant experience in Quality Engineering / Manufacturing.
Valuable knowledge of quality inspection and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of QMS, CAPA, ISO, supplier quality and calibration.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Willingness to visit supplier/customer sites when required.
