Role & responsibilities
Inspection of incoming materials and stage inspection for manufactured equipment at all stages
Witnessing WPS, PQR and approval of welders
Preparation of QA procedures including NDE, testing procedure, specific ITP
Co-ordinating with third party inspection agencies for inspection & approvals
Conduct stage inspection like fitup/ tack weld/ assembly/ welding/ NDT, leak test in shop
Coordinate with respective departments for day-to-day inspection calls
Responsible for ASME documentation and audits
Blasting and Painting Inspection
Responsible for quality dossier preparation, submission and approval from client
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with ASNT NDT level II certification
Experience: 7 to 10 years in pressure vessel, tank fabrication, or heavy steel structural fabrication.
Proficiency in understanding ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, and Indian Standards (IS)
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
