AI Engineering Manager leading a team in India with expertise in Python and generative AI for enterprise solutions.

We are seeking an AI Engineering Manager (India) to lead our India-based AI engineering team, driving architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions across Midera's global operations.

Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the India-based AI engineering and implementation team.
Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop AI engineers and developers.
Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
Personally contribute to development of high‑priority AI applications and integrations.
Design and architect enterprise‑grade AI applications, agents, and copilots.
Lead technical design for solutions involving LLMs, generative AI, and RAG.
Partner with the U.S.‑based Manager, Enterprise AI on team structure, priorities, and resource planning.
Establish coding and engineering standards across projects.

Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Approximately 10+ years of skilled software engineering,



cloud engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, or related technical experience.
Robust Python development skills with hands‑on software engineering experience.
Experience designing and delivering production‑grade enterprise applications.
Demonstrated experience developing generative AI or LLM‑based applications and working with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
Experience integrating applications with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
Solid understanding of software architecture, authentication, authorization, APIs, security, source control, and CI/CD.
Experience performing code reviews and technical design reviews.

Nice to have
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, or Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience with Dynamics 365, CRM systems, or enterprise data platforms.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or supply‑chain environments.
Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, or cloud‑based AI operations.
