Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to provide operational support for business-critical batch and ETL pipelines, focusing on monitoring, incident triage, troubleshooting, and platform stability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational oversight for daily and overnight batch workloads running 7 days a week*, including weekends and public holidays.
Diagnose and resolve production incidents impacting IBM DataStage ETL jobs* and dependent data flows.
Support and maintain Apache Spark and Delta Lake* processing pipelines for performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot PostgreSQL and IBM Db2* issues, including connectivity, query performance, and service availability.
Manage workload orchestration in Control-M*, including restarts, dependency handling, and recovery of failed runs.
Conduct RCA* for production issues and document findings, mitigations, and preventive actions.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream technology teams during incidents, outages, and major releases.
