Seeking a Principal .NET Backend Engineer with over 10 years of experience in ASP.NET Core and C# to design and develop scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure while providing technical leadership.

We are seeking a Principal .NET Backend Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-scale backend applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft Azure, while leading architecture discussions and technical mentorship.

Key responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.
Architect cloud-native Microservices and Distributed Systems on Microsoft Azure.
Design secure, high-performance REST APIs and event-driven applications.
Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
Design and implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, AKS deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
Establish engineering standards,



best practices, and architectural guidelines.
Review AI-generated code and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Required qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET backend development.
Expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, and microservices architecture.
Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Solid knowledge of distributed systems, performance optimization, and system design.
Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and container orchestration (AKS).

Nice to have
Advanced understanding of event-driven architecture and Azure Service Bus.
Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and Azure infrastructure-as-code.
Knowledge of DDD, CQRS, and clean architecture principles.
Soft skills: problem solving, stakeholder management, and agile delivery.
