We are looking for a skilled Micro Focus COBOL Developer with 48 years of experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications built using Micro Focus COBOL on Unix/Linux or Windows platforms. The ideal candidate should have robust COBOL programming skills, experience with relational databases, and the ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Micro Focus COBOL.
Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents.
Develop recent modules and enhance existing applications.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
Support production applications and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and database interactions.
Work with sequential, indexed, and relative files.
