The Placement Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust relationships with industry partners, organizing campus recruitment drives, and ensuring successful student placements. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in placement coordination, corporate relations, and student career developmen preferably within a reputed college or university setting.

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with institutional goals.

Build and sustain robust relationships with corporate organizations, HR leaders, and industry associations.

Identify employment opportunities and internship programs for students across disciplines.

Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and pre-placement training sessions.

Coordinate with department heads, faculty, and student placement committees for effective placement processes.

Conduct regular sessions on resume writing, interview skills, and career counselling.

Track placement statistics,



prepare reports, and maintain placement records accurately.

Collaborate with alumni for networking and industry connections.

Stay updated on current market trends, emerging job sectors, and employer expectations.

Represent the institution at external forums, conferences, and placement-related events.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Management, HR, or related discipline (MBA preferred).

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in placements, corporate relations, or career services, preferably in an educational institution.

Proven track record of successful campus placements and robust industry networks.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and leadership abilities with attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
