Job Summary

We are hiring a Software Engineer Core Banking with 2 to 5 years of experience in COBOL, Oracle SQL/DB2 and Unix Shell Scripting/JCL.

The role involves techno-functional application support, SQL analysis, defect troubleshooting and production/SIT/UAT support for Core Banking applications.

Mandatory Skills

Key Responsibilities
Provide techno-functional support for Core Banking applications.
Analyze and execute SQL queries for investigation, validation and issue resolution.
Analyze and troubleshoot defects across SIT, UAT and Production settings.
Support COBOL-based applications and perform application-level issue analysis.
Investigate incidents and defects and drive issues through to closure.




Coordinate with development, testing, business and technology teams for resolution.
Perform production support activities and provide timely incident/issue updates.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely closure.
Participate in shift-based support as required.
