Key Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day SAP Basis administration and monitoring.
Support SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Assist with SAP system migration and refresh activities.
Support database migration activities and coordinate with database/OS teams.
Monitor SAP systems, background jobs, work processes, system logs, and interfaces.
Assist with SAP transport management (STMS) and transport movement across environments.
Perform user administration, role assignments, and authorization-related activities.
Support SAP kernel upgrades, patches, and Support Package activities.
Assist in troubleshooting system performance and connectivity issues.
Support backup, recovery, and system health checks.
Maintain technical documentation, migration checklists, and operational procedures.
Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, database, and application teams during migration activities.
Participate in migration cutover, validation, and post-migration support.

Required Skills




Basic knowledge of SAP Basis administration.
Understanding of SAP architecture and SAP application servers.
Knowledge of ABAP and Java stack concepts is an advantage.
Basic understanding of SAP HANA/Oracle/SQL Server databases.
Familiarity with SAP transactions such as SM21, SM37, SM50, SM51, ST22, STMS, RZ10, RZ11, and SU01.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems.
Understanding of SAP transport management and system refresh processes.
Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Positive communication and coordination skills.

Migration Exposure

Candidates with exposure to any of the following will be preferred:
SAP system migration
SAP HANA migration
SAP system refresh
Homogeneous/heterogeneous system migration
SAP upgrade activities
SUM/DMO concepts
SAP S/4HANA migration or conversion
Pre- and post-migration validation
