Design, develop, and deliver high-quality web applications with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and zero-defect delivery. Contribute toward end-to-end development across front-end, back-end, and database layers, adhering to established engineering standards and best practices. Develop, maintain, and support web applications, APIs, and database solutions in alignment with Tescos technical standards, security

You will be responsible for
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications and APIs.
Deliver end-to-end application features across front-end, back-end, integrations, and database components.
Develop high-quality, reusable, and well-documented code while ensuring compliance with security and governance requirements.
Ensure solution quality through testing, code reviews, defect prevention, and adherence to defined quality standards.
Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and production issue resolution to ensure service reliability and performance.
Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and data solutions that enable secure and efficient business processes.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, reusable assets,



process optimization, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Build robust stakeholder relationships and provide explicit communication on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.
Live demonstrate Tesco values in everyday interactions.

You will need
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience level - 0 to 3 years Preferred
Eagerness to learn recent technologies and development
PostgreSQL and relational database concepts
REST API development and integration
FastAPI or similar backend frameworks
Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices basics
Backend application development and system integrations
GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
Secondary Skills
ReactJS, TypeScript, and CSS3
Full-stack web application development basics
SFTP and third-party system integrations
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Redis and messaging/queue concepts
