As a Junior Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to support and improve the observability, reliability, and performance of complex cloud-based systems. Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring approximately 30 microservices and ensure system health and performance.
Help build and maintain dashboards for system observability and reporting.
Participate in troubleshooting production issues, escalating where necessary.
Collaborate with service owners to collect requirements and improve monitoring coverage.
Support automation initiatives to streamline reporting and log management.
Contribute to a consistent look and feel of dashboards for quick issue identification. Qualifications
2+ years of experience working as an SRE or in a similar role (DevOps, Production Support).
Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e. g. , Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with Python scripting
Basic knowledge of cloud concepts and up-to-date software delivery practices.
General understanding of version control (Git).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, willingness to learn.
Nice to have:
Exposure to monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, etc. ).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
