Hands-on experience in Direct Purchase of Mechanical Components within the Automotive Lighting industry is mandatory. Candidates without relevant Automotive Lighting experience will not be considered.
Direct Purchase Mechanical Lighting Components
Procurement of automotive lighting mechanical components such as housing, bezel, reflector, lens, cover, brackets, heat sink, seals and other plastic/metal parts.
Supplier Development Automotive Lighting
Identification, development and management of suppliers specifically for mechanical components used in automotive lighting products.
RFQ, Costing & Negotiation
Handle RFQ, should-costing, price benchmarking, tooling cost, VA/VE and commercial negotiations for mechanical lighting components.
Current Product Development (NPD) Purchasing
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Project teams for sourcing and development of mechanical components from RFQ development PPAP SOP.
Supplier Performance & Material Availability
Ensure QCD, capacity, delivery and cost targets for mechanical lighting suppliers and maintain uninterrupted material supply for production.
