Design & Modelling
Design and modify mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Create 3D models along with manufacturing and assembly drawings.
Apply basic mechanical design principles and material-selection basics to design decisions.
Product Development & Prototyping
Assist in developing trailer and commercial-vehicle automation products.
Support prototype development, testing, and validation.
Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
Collaboration & Coordination
Coordinate with fabrication and manufacturing teams to translate designs into parts.
Incorporate feedback from reviews and manufacturing into revised designs.
Preferred candidate profile
We are looking for a Design Engineer Intern to join our product-development team and work directly on trailer and commercial-vehicle automation products. This is a hands-on role for engineers who want to move beyond coursework into real product development modelling components, generating manufacturing drawings, and supporting prototypes through testing and validation.
