Role & responsibilities
Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality against requirements.
Identify,document, track, and verify software defects.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify issues.
Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
Participate in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before production release.
Support test planning and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Maintain accurate test documentation and status reports.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science,
engineering or related field
0.5 to 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
Knowledge of manual testing techniques and defect management processes.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
