Job Description
Design, build, and manage secure, scalable API solutions on Google Apigee (X / Edge). Develop reusable API proxies and shared flows, migrate legacy integrations to Apigee X, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade API initiatives with high performance and reliability.
Key Skills
Apigee X / Edge proxy development, policies, shared flows, settings
API design – RESTful & SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger specs
Security – OAuth 2.0, JWT, API key management
Programming – JavaScript, Java, Python, Node.js (custom policies)
Data formats – JSON, XML transformation
CI/CD & DevOps – Git, Jenkins, automated deployment
GCP – integration with Google Cloud services
Tools – Postman, Splunk for testing/troubleshooting
Positive to have: Docker/Kubernetes, microservices, Google Cloud certification
