Role Description This is a full-time, on-site News Anchor role based in Bhubaneswar. The News Anchor will present live news bulletins, podcasts and special segments with clarity, professionalism, and neutrality across multiple topics and formats. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching stories, collaborating with reporters and producers, reviewing scripts, and delivering breaking news updates in real time. The role involves interviewing guests, moderating panel discussions, and adapting to multiple languages when needed, ensuring clear communication for a broad audience. The News Anchor will also support newsroom workflows,



participate in editorial meetings, and maintain a strong on-camera presence across digital and broadcast channels.
Qualifications

- Strong reporting skills, including gathering information, verifying facts, and developing news stories.
- Broadcast journalism expertise, with hands-on experience in broadcasting and on-air presenting.
- Proficient news writing skills, including scriptwriting and preparing clear, concise copy for live delivery.
- Demonstrated capability as a presenter, with confident on-camera performance and audience engagement.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi and Odia is highly preferred.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, handle breaking news situations, and adapt quickly to changing agendas.
- Familiarity with digital news platforms, social media, and basic newsroom production tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong ethical judgment, commitment to unbiased reporting, and adherence to journalistic standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as news demands.
